I've been at my "new" job for three months now, and I'm still using the metal chain issued with my ID card on my first day of work:
Now that I'm done with school for the semester, I had some free time last night to string together something better:
I took some Beadalon wire and strung multi-colored glass seed beads on it. I threaded a larger silver bead toward the bottom and created a loop where my ID could hook on. Voila -- now I've got style!
Lanyards are cool! I love them and wish they were more of a fashion accessory. Been thinking about making aline of fashion lanyards, though I'm not that skilled.
