i am in love with megan's pattern in the latest issue of knitty! must go purchase some yarn -- the perfect, simple pattern to get me back into knitting!
I love it, too. I went out tonight and bought yarn to make it. I am so excited!!

Posted by: Jennie at September 20, 2003 12:54 PMyeah, i didn't think i could pull off the orange and red either, but i found some really lovely yarn in a green "speckled" shade and a deep pink/mauve (for the stripe). i've only got about 1/2 a foot done so far, such a slow knitter...! i'm excited to get it done.

Posted by: Ellen at September 22, 2003 07:17 PMellen, i bought some bernat from the hobby lobby here in alabama (none in so. cal) -- it's bernat soft boucle. it's poly/acry but feels really soft, more like cotton to me... that's why i got it, it felt the best! :)
