annoying phone calls from strangers trying to sell you something? this is a direct email from my best friend amy:
I just got an address you may find useful. Discover Card gave this address to me when I asked that my name be taken off their phone list. The representative said that my name would be removed from Discover's list, but a letter to the following address would take care of other callers.
If you would like to be placed on the national "do not call" list, send a letter requesting removal from the call list. Include your name, address, and phone number. It takes a few weeks to process but should be worth the couple of minutes it takes to write a letter.
