i voted. and i got my little sticker. do you ever wonder if people only go to vote just so they can get that sticker? funny thing, those stickers. it's like once you place that thing upon your chest you become part of an elite club. you see people around town in passing and feel a connection with them. it's kind of silly actually.

well, they finally got in florida's votes and have declared george bush jr. our next prez. i voted for gore for two main reasons, no three. one: his backing on women's issues (very important to me). two: favoring strong gun control laws (incredibly important to me). and three: he seemed a little more intelligent than his competitor (a good thing to have in a leader). i'll admit that both candidates appeared shady and not incredibly great, but junior never appealed to me. and i have to question how many of the votes for him were based on him riding on his daddy's coat-tails? should be an interesting four years. i wonder who will run next time.

now i realize that my saying this may sit unsettled in your stomach b/c you love g.w.b., but this is my space and just my opinion. and junior is a boob.
