1. To get the measurement for my belt, I wrapped the ribbon around my waist and added a foot to allow for folding over edges and threading through rings.

2. I thread the "d" rings onto my ribbon and folded down about 1 inch worth of ribbon. I hand sewed the end down securly.

3. For the other end of the belt, I folded about 10 inches worth of ribbon back onto itself (wrong sides facing each other). The other side of the ribbon has all the threads showing from the front detail. This would hide it from showing when I looped the ribbon through the "d" rings to wear. I used extra strength "stitch witchery" to bond the two sides together
