has anyone else noticed that their marble magnets have started to yellow? all my images that have white backgrounds are now yellow. pretty crappy looking.

i just solved rubik's cube for the very first time. and, yes i cheated: rubik's solver -- but i didn't just take the sections apart and rearange them (like i did as a kid). i actually had to turn the thing. i think it took 96 turns. 5 minutes later, i messed it up again. who likes order?

as of late, not much updating going on. i think i've been occupied with adtunes, dieting and knitting. dieting is going well. after a slump of not losing anything for a week, i finally started losing again and am down to 17.5 total lost! i can tell exercising is getting easier, but i hurt my knee a couple weeks ago, so it makes it bothersome at times. on the crafting front: i've finished my latest project, a clutch, inspired by someone else. i just need to sew the lining. i really like it so far! and, i've finished it enough that i can move on to my next project, a baby blanket of sorts... one of my dearest friends recently had a baby! so, that should be fun to work on. any yarn suggestions for baby?

time to step up the "free martha" campaign. martha found guilty. :(

yesterday on oprah's "live from the oscars" show, julia roberts had on these adorable shoes. they had a chunky back, looked like brushed leather/suede, mary janes style, with a big knob/button on the end of the strap. here are some crappy shots of the shoe. has anyone seen shoes like this? i've looked, but haven't found anything similiar enough. i'm in love... help me find them!

a few weeks ago, i got a "press board" type aol cd box in the mail. it's the same shape as the old tin, but it's made out of some sort of (cheap) wood. the whole thing has a layer of thick paper over it, with aol's logo stuff on the outside and white on the inside. it's pretty nice actually... i was impressed. once decoupaged, it will be a great addition to my aol tin "stamp keeper."
