a few weeks ago, i got a "press board" type aol cd box in the mail. it's the same shape as the old tin, but it's made out of some sort of (cheap) wood. the whole thing has a layer of thick paper over it, with aol's logo stuff on the outside and white on the inside. it's pretty nice actually... i was impressed. once decoupaged, it will be a great addition to my aol tin "stamp keeper."
I just got three of those handed to me at work today. I have to admit, I am very impressed by this new advancement in AOL technology. I almost .. want to sign up.
One thing worth pointing out is the weight. These boxes weigh much more than the old fashion tin and I'm sure they have a higher cost for both packaging and shipping. But still, impressive.
