as of this morning, i have lost three pounds -- an encouraging beginning. the meal plan included in the south beach diet book is very helpful, but i feel like i'm eating too much! the plan allows for three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner), two snacks (mid-morning and mid-afternoon) plus dessert after dinner. i'm finding myself eating even though i'm not hungry, and i'm not sure that's the correct thing to do. i wonder if i'm not sending the wrong messsage to my body. what about the "i'm full" signal i should be paying attention to? anyone have tips on how to deal with that?

last week jon and i were briefly interviewed about adtunes.com for the new york times. the article comes out in print form tomorrow (in the technology: circuits section), and is available online (second story) right now! (nytimes.com articles require registration, but it's free.) woo-hoo!

well, tomorrow is d-day, as i think of it. diet day. seriously. we're going to trendy south beach for at least the next two weeks. i've got big plans for the day... day one of bad carb elimination and workouts. i'm starting out with an aerobic regime via my tae bo workout dvd with some light strength training mixed in. wish me luck.
has anyone else had successes (or otherwise) with the whole south beach diet?
