your rockstar boyfriend is thom yorke (of radiohead)...
"you and thom yorke are a match made in heaven! you're both quite shy, but highly intelligent and creative people. you might be described as being a wallflower at parties, but it is probably because you're so deep in thought! music is a huge part of your life and you prefer to experiment with different genres of music, rather than sticking to the same thing, which makes you a perfect couple!"

here are a couple ways we can help with the tragedy in new york.
amazon has collected an amazing amount of donations for the red cross, over three million when i last checked.
visit red cross to see what you could do to help out.
megnut.com has a pretty comprehensive list of sites to see, things to watch, etc... her thoughts toward all of this reflects some of my feelings as well.

so, it wasn't a bunch of british school children jumping up and down... this was the real deal -- my first earthquake! i was asleep and woke up to what felt like someone shaking the shit out of the room... there was a rumbling noise, kind of... and the whole thing moved from one side of the room out the other. it was all very strange -- nothing fell off the walls, or off the table tops, like i expected... but it also wasn't all that strong since the center was a few miles from here.

sometimes we need a little extra know-how when it comes to our cars... mechanicnet.com offers some valuable tips and info.
so, next time you accidentally (i swear) put diesel fuel in your tank... whatever you do, DO NOT start your engine...

so the other day, i was checking out at the grocery store when i heard this woman in the next line over... repeating some word to the bagger kid, over and over again. i turned to see what her deal was and thought, oh she looks familiar. it can't be anyone i know, given that the only people i know are 2000 miles east... but i knew this girl. she kind of resembled that girl on "saved by the bell," "beverly hills 90120..." i turned back to look again. and again. brief looks, so i didn't seem stalker-y.
tiffani thiessen.
she looked so small and petite... so plain, no make up, no fuss hair pulled back loosly in a pony, pretty. she looked so... "normal." my first star sighting! i guess at some point this will be no big deal... i should start keeping a log.
