this whole "foot and mouth" epidemic going on over in britain is crazy. i'm going to be there in a month and have read a lot about the thing... for one, stonehenge will most likely be closed while i'm there! bummer. and it's possible when i come back into the united states, customs officials might have to take my shoes and disinfect them. how silly... anyway, some people are afraid to eat any meat or dairy products. i'm not scared... but maybe i should be.
