had a dentist appointment yesterday... one cavity (um, watch out for the decaying teeth... ick) -- i haven't had a cavity in about six or more years. so, i guess it was due.

this is nice advice to have around for when i get overwhelmed. (really only helpful or worth reading if you're a girl, a recent grad and in your 20s.)

i've spent my down time split between cleaning and sleeping. last night i cleaned off my entire computer desk, and threw away half of the contents.

still sick - no improvement. :(

i'm so sick right now with sinus/allergy problems. so, this site is almost appropriate. check out the pollen level in your area.

this seems like a good idea... although i never did get the part to work where i could listen to my cd that i beamed in with the "beam-it" software (but it did upload to the site, which was in itself amazing to me). but, it's still a cool concept and pretty easy to use.

re-live the day i dreaded so -- my college graduation. pictures now online.

well, it's done. school, that is. i got my fancy diploma on saturday declaring that i had received a bachelor of arts in communications (journalism/mass communications) from samford university. praise the lord.

so, be on the lookout for photos documenting the day... i'm working on a page right now.

just got home from my very last class. the reality of being done with school hit me this morning when i arrived on campus and i thought "this is the last time i have to park in a legal zone." oh the joy to scrape that damn parking sticker off my window.

only 10 days til i am officially rid of samford university.

i am so in love with the work of rodin, an incredible 19th century sculptor and artist. these are a few of my favorite sculptures: danaid, eternal idol (i really like it) and the non-bronze kiss. the last one, despair, i can't find an image of online.

went out with kristina for drinks/dinner in honor of cinco de mayo. not very fun. she threw up outside the restaurant (not because she was drunk).

i came home, early. then went to the video store and rented: three kings, being john malcovich (sp?) and boys don't cry - all on dvd. watched the first one, liked it. watching the second, strange but intriguing.

saw high fidelity last night with my best friend sarah. it was a great movie... i think i'll end up going back to see it again by myself. oh, and in case you're just dying to know -- i've got 30 pages left in the book.

yesterday, as in tuesday, i woke up bright and early to hear this man speak (all in order to get credit for graduation.) i got to see his famous auburn type son as well. oh the excitement...
