last night, i lost count of the times the tornado sirens went off (which sound like those scary bomb sirens you hear in movies, from like WWII). well, apparently, i should have paid a little more attention, rather than sitting on the couch watching the weather men... a tornado touched down in vestavia/hoover (my city-neighborhood), at the bottom of the mountain i live on.
