tonight's the grammy's. who knew that the awards included close to 100 categories?? among those being "best package" and "best album notes." i hope santana doesn't take home every award he's nominated for... sorry, but i'm just so tired of hearing "smooth."

is it just me... or did the older brother on the made-for-mtv movie, 2gether, look and act a whole lot like chris farley?? they do share the same last name... maybe they are related.

thanks to a post on eatonweb, i just spent $12 at goodwood's british market. i hope i get my stuff (2 packs of digestives and 1 cadbury bar) soon!! by the way, digestives have a REALLY bad name -- they are bisquits, or crackers...

in a really perfect world... i'd live where i could see this (which would normally show a famous sign), and be closer to my boyfriend.

but, instead i see this, and live close to vulcan's ass (which isn't there anymore, but will be back).

so, now that mtv has jumped on the "win a million dollar-something" bandwagon, have we got all the major networks covered??

i'd live inside my very favorite store. which would have a sky walk to this place. and across the street would be this store.

for the 5th night in a row, i have had a dream involving death in some way or another. i even had a dream that dreaming about death meant i'd be getting a large sum of cash... maybe i'm addicted to "who wants to be a millionaire."

9th row: i'm there. i really only have fond memories for these guys b/c of my brothers' vinyl albums... i used to look at the ones with the big head shots of the band and admire their make-up. i always thought the one with long hair was pretty... (come on, i was, like, 6 or something)

life is beautiful. i finally watched my last current dvd rental, life is beautiful. a really (for lack of better word) beautiful movie. guido is so romantic and strong... i laughed so hard when he explains the "rules" of (unfortunately) the jewish concentration camp to his son. overall, highly romantic, sad, funny... a lovely film.

have you ever seen a children's movie called matilda? it's a cute one... my favorite part is when the headmistress "hammer throws" some pig-tailed girl across the school's front yard. :)

one of my all-time favorite bands is playing here on valentine's night... the smashing pumpkins. it's all very low-key though -- they're playing a small club downtown and signing autographs at a local cd shop. the question is: just why are they playing here, and at a club? i saw them at the pyramid in memphis 4 years ago, and they bitched about not selling it out. going for the small club, looks packed theory? oh well, i guess they aren't as great as they used to be... rumored to be splitting up as well.

so, after like the 10th mention of SXSW on various weblogs, i finally decided to visit the official site to find out what all the hype was about. well, now i want to go... a music festival? i'm all about it... not to mention i have heard of a few of the bands, AND one of them is from huntsville, alabama (my hometown)...

somebody's got WAY too much time on their hands: i don't know what's worse -- that this guy actually has better suggestions for each "bad design" or that i sat and read through all of them.
