001 born on october 27, 1976 at 4:56 a.m. in alabama

002 am a perfectly moody scorpio

003 youngest of three, two brothers -- steve (5 yrs older) and david (4 yrs older)

004 spoiled, but not entirely rotten

005 my dad owns a hardware store, which he bought from my mom's dad. i am not afraid of power tools. i always confuse philip's head with flat head screwdrivers. (the names, not the actual tool.)

006 have dark and dull brown hair, but i've colored it since i was 12 -- from black to red to light blonde (and once, on accident, it was blue)

007 i have been growing out my hair for about five years now... it's naturally wavy. it's real curly if i encourage it. i usually blow-dry it straight. i love wearing ponytails. (as of june 03, my hair is short again... nine inches so.)

008 brown eyes. owned glasses since i was 6 or 7, in the first grade, but never wore them for fear of being different. have worn contacts since age 12, sixth grade. i am near and far sighted, and have astigmatism.

009 when i walked out the eye doctor's office door with my first pair of contacts, i saw the leaves on a tree for the very first time in my life

010 always saw trees as green/yellow/red cotton candy poofs with a brown stick. my mom felt bad about that.

011 been to the emergency room three times: high fever, broken arm, finger incident

012 had to be packed in ice when i was a kid for a high fever

013 those same high fevers caused me to have a seizure in the middle of k-mart -- apparently something common in young children (the seizures due to high fever, not having them in k-mart)

014 broke both bones in my right wrist when i fell down skating in the 1st grade

015 after my cast was taken off, i wouldn't let go of my arm for several days because i thought it would float away (i was used to it being heavy, and now it was so much lighter without the cast on)

016 sliced off the very tip of my left, ring finger while slicing a bagel -- sophomore year college. almost passed out in the e.r. waiting room from the loss of blood. got mad at the nurse b/c my bleeding hadn't stopped in almost three hours and they still hadn't taken me back. they later admitted it was much worse than they originally thought. had my nerve endings burnt off by the doctor, on purpose. my fingernail grows funny.

017 have since sliced into my left, pointer finger, october 2001 -- didn't require hospital visit. still have a weird feeling in that finger. and, my left thumb in april 04. i really need to invest in a metal mesh chef's glove!

018 broke one of my left toes in college after running into a massive wooden cd case sitting in my room. only required a visit to the campus nurse.

019 i am strongly opposed to guns… and war. i just don’t like fighting, in general.

020 raised catholic. went to a baptist college. consider myself non-denominational. still trying to figure it all out.

021 don't like brown colored carbonated drinks. prefer to drink diet sprite or water. i drink a whole lot of sugar-free kool-aid and crystal lite.

022 favorite hot drink is earl grey tea. hate the smell of coffee.

023 don't like ice in my drinks. usually drink them room temp (or "shelf temp" as i like to say).

024 favorite food is chinese, cold fried chicken breast and macaroni and cheese. all things separately, not combined.

025 pick apart sandwiches, or anything consisting of layers. but, i only do this in the presence of people who i'm really comfortable with. and i don't do it at restaurants. very few people actually see this.

026 like to dip my fries in mayonnaise and ketchup mixture, put ketchup on mashed potatoes. do not like gravy on anything, except kfc's mashed potatoes.

027 don't like meat very much, except for chicken. rarely eat turkey on thanksgiving. only burger i really enjoy is a mcdonald's cheeseburger.

028 favorite ice cream is green mint chocolate chip from baskin-robbins.

029 listen to all kinds of music. favorite style is alternative, rock or techno. least favorite is hard-core rap or country. I have over 300 cd’s.

030 favorite group is queen, followed by sting, harry connick jr. and bjork.

031 i have a mad crush on bjork.

032 i think anthony keidis (from red hot chili peppers) is sexy. so is the model tyson beckford, at least until he speaks.

033 i graduated from samford university in 2000 with a degree in communications.

034 the best thing about my time at samford was going to london for a semester in 1997.

035 the first day at my job in london, our department went to a pub for "lunch" (er, drinks) and didn't go back to the office until time to go home.

036 my boss got in trouble with his boss for that.

037 we never went out like that again.

038 princess diana was killed while i was there. that was a crazy time.

039 i've never seen so many flowers before in my life. the air smelled of them for days.

040 the happiest day of my life, so far, was realized while walking through waterloo station going home from work. it was late october, close to my 21st birthday. i don’t know what brought it on, i just remember feeling really happy right at the moment i rode the escalator down into the tunnels to catch the train home.

041 i love to travel. have seen a lot of places. i am not done.

042 favorite place to visit is europe. favorite cities: london, paris, pisa and venice.

043 best thing about europe: the trains that connect the countries.

044 worst part: the pigeons

045 i have a terrible fear of birds.

046 i had a very traumatic experience with a bird in elementary school, that i never talk about.

047 i also am afraid of rodents, snakes, large bodies of water, that curly headed pepsi girl and sharks.

048 my first pets were two fish named willy wonka and femme-fatale. i got them sophomore year of college.

049 my parents now have two dogs. a boy and a girl. they just arrived in the past five years.

050 i like to pop my toes by twisting them from left to right. i only do this to the middle three.

051 i have a birth mark on my stomach. i love it.

052 i always thought it was ironic to have a "beauty" mark on my least beautiful part.

053 i tell people i'm 5 feet 7 inches tall. when in reality i'm 5 feet 6 and a half inches tall... okay, in all honesty, i’m just shy of 5 feet 6 and a half.

054 i have big feet. size 10.

055 i'm pretty laid back. don't like confrontation.

056 am very spontaneous and care-free... around certain people

057 i often bottle up my feelings.

059 i've battled depression since high school. probably should have talked to someone about that…

060 i'm doing so much better now, though.

061 i have self-diagnosed ADD. always have 1000 things going on at once.

063 i love crafts of all kinds.

064 my favorite things are pottery and knitting.

068 i love photography. wanted to be a photographer for a travel magazine.

069 my friends often say, of my high school days, that i never went anywhere without my camera.

070 i studied ballet, tap and jazz for 15 years. i miss it a lot.

073 i studied journalism in college -- i emphasized in print media: writing and design.

074 i love design -- i was one of the head editors of my middle school yearbook, the editor-in-chief of my high school yearbook, and held various editor positions and/or worked for all four publications that came out of my college.

075 if i weren't an aspiring designer, i'd be one of two things:

076 an archeologist. i've always had a fascination with egypt and pompeii, ever since i was young.

077 or a chef. i've recently really become interested in cooking.

078 i love to cook. i'd really love to open a bakery.

079 my favorite artist is the sculptor auguste rodin. my favorite pieces are: the kiss, danaid, despair and eternal love

080 the last time i was in paris, i went to his home and saw all of these as well as "the thinker," which he's most famous for.

081 my favorite painters are van gogh and rembrandt.

082 my favorite color is black.

083 my favorite article of clothing is my ankle length black skirt. my second favorite is jeans.

084 i don't like wearing shorts or sleeveless shirts.

085 i have a widow's peak. my friend, joan, nick-named me "mickey" after i pointed out to my 9th grade biology class that it looks like mickey mouse's forehead. the nick-name is still in use.

086 my favorite season is fall. because of the perfect weather, halloween and my birthday.

087 i enjoy changing seasons.

088 i moved to los angeles in 2001. i haven't seen a season change yet.

089 i miss rain showers back home. i don't miss the tornados at all.

090 i've been in about three tornados. that's not too bad... but they sure were.

091 i've experienced one or two earthquakes.

092 i played the viola in elementary school.

093 i sang at carnegie hall in new york city with my middle school choir.

094 i never have, nor ever will, vote republican.

095 i have always had more girl friends than boy friends. i asked my best friend, a boy, to a dance in 10th grade. we went, but it ruined our friendship forever. i still regret asking him.

096 i didn't go to any proms or homecoming dances in high school. few of my close friends actually did.

097 i have lived with my boyfriend, jon, since the end of august 2001.

098 i used to speak fluent spanish. i still have some left in me. would like to learn french.

099 i don't like to draw attention to myself... would rather remain in the background out of sight. i do like acknowledgement every now and again, though.

100 favorite punctuation is three dots... which i use a whole lot. prefer to write in lowercase. and, always sign my name with a dot at the end -- hand-written and typed… michelle.
